Fergus Highland Games 10k

in cooperation with

Fergus Scottish Festival 

Run the tree-lined roads along the Grand River between Fergus and Elora.  A beautiful course.  Bagpipes at the start and finish line.This year's race is going to be fast.  Krista Duchene will be running. 

August 9th, 2015  9am

Now includes a 2 x 5k relay, and a free kid's 400m

To celebrate the best of Scottish Heritage, we will have a draw for bottle of good single malt.  You must be 19 or older and present at awards to win.

The Fergus Highland Games 10k is run on beautiful tree lined roads along the banks of the Grand River, between Fergus and Elora

The cost for the race remains a great bargain, $25. In order to keep the cost of the race down, there is no free t-shirt.  A souvenir series t-shirt is available for the reasonable cost of $8.

Awards and prizes

$100, $75 and $50 for the top three men and women,

Merchadise will be awarded to the top two in each ten year age group.

The Mike Benham Award

There is a special award of $50 each for the top male and female under 19 years of age

Family Day at the Festival

 Lots of food, drink, Celtic rock and traditional bands, dancers, pipers, strong man events, tug of war, ukulele lessons, kids activities, highland animals,


Mike Benham Award  
In memory of a great guy and a previous winner of this race, we offer a special award to the fastest runners, male and female, 19 years old and under.  The top young runners last year ran close to 34 minutes, producing some exciting racing.
