Working With the Heart and Stroke Foundation

We at the Guelph Race Series are proud to partner with the Heart and Stroke Foundation on this year's Billy Taylor Road Races.  Billy Taylor, a hockey player and a runner, died from a heart attack and the races have been held in his memory for more than 30 years.  Regular exercise is one of the best antidotes to cardiovascular disease.

You can raise funds for the Heart and Stroke Foundation by going to their website and making a donation or starting your own fundraising page.  There are rewards for different levels of fundraising and if you raise over $100, the Guelph Athletics Society will waive your entry fee.

Raising funds for HSF saves lives.  Running, walking and other regular exercise could save your own life. Supporting and encouraging others to become active could save their lives.  Bring your family and friends out to the Billy Taylor Road Races on April 29th.
